Description: Marble tablet attached to a wall mounted wooden board. Crucifix & castle motif above lettering.
Inscription: SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF LAUNCELOT WEBB, AGED 25 YEARS. PRIVATE IN THE ESSEX REGIMENT. ONLY SON OF GEORGE AND HENRIETTA VICTORIA WEBB. KILLED IN ACTION ON THE 19TH OCTOBER 1916. IN FRANCE, AT A PLACE UNKNOWN, WHILST DOING HIS DUTY AS A SOLDIER. / "HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR HIS COUNTRY" / ERECTED BY HIS FATHER
