    Description
A slate memorial comprising a botonne cross, with a rose carved in a coiled roundel at the crossing, mounted on a tapered octagonal shaft, which is set into a roofed cloister bearing an heraldic device on a shield within Gothic arches in the eight spaces. Beneath is the main plinth carrying the WW1 dedication and names, which are inscribed on alternate panels, with an angel bearing a wreath stood on separate pillars, linked to the plinth by flying buttresses, in the four corners between the name plaques. The whole is mounted on a single base, which is in turn mounted on a step, which carries the WW2 dedication beneath that for WW1, with plaques carrying the WW2 names set below those carrying the WW1 names. An additional panel carries the name of a 1981 casualty from Belize.
