    Description
Tall granite Celtic cross with tapered shaft with Celtic decoration, mounted on a battered, tiered plinth on a single step, which carries an incised Dedication, within a paved area which is elevated from the road below, with access by five central steps. A sandstone screen wall behind carries the Dedication and Names. It is slightly raked inwards from the central section, which also carries Celtic decorations, with the WW1 names being on two panels on each wing. The WW2 commemoration was created by building terminal sections onto the wings, each having a panel each. The panels are slate and the inscriptions are incised. The whole is enclosed within a small garden, with a sandstone retaining wall, which has been extended outwards from the abutments to the central steps.
