The Scotsman 6th December 1920: "Wormit - A war memorial was unveiled at Wormit, Fife, on Saturday in presence of a large assemblage, including many relatives of men who fell in the war connected with the district. The monument is of granite, and occupies a prominent site at the south end of the Tay Bridge. On it are the names of six officers and twelve men. The monument was unveiled by Colonel J. B. Muir, D. S. O. 4th Black Watch."
