Description: Memorial formed by two brass plaques for WW1 and WW2 respectively mounted on a wooden backboard. Incised inscription in black lettering Flags of France, America and Britain depicted in the centre of the Left and Right hand sides of the WW1 Plaque. Incised columns supporting narrow pediment depicted on the WW1 plaque. Plain line border to the WW2 plaque.
Inscription: UPPER PLAQUE: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND/ IN MEMORY OF OUR BROTHERS OF/ KIRKCUDBRIGHT UNITED FREE CHURCH/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR/ (NAMES) LOWER PLAQUE: ALSO IN MEMORY OF OUR BROTHERS OF/ ST MARY'S CHURCH KIRKCUDBRIGHT/ WHO FELL IN THE WAR/ 1939 - 1945/ (NAMES)/ AND THEY SHALL BRING THE GLORY AND THE HONOUR OF THE NATIONS INTO IT/ REV.
