Description: Grey rectangular tablet , probably alabaster . with a broken curved pediment at the top . Surmounting the tablet is what appears to be a celtic cross which is partially obscured by a modern wreath of poppies .The names and dedication are finely incised and coloured black
Inscription: 1914 - 1918/ REMEMBER WITHTHANKSGIVING THE TRUE/ AND FAITHFUL MEN OF THIS VILLAGE WHO/ WENT FORTH FOUGHT AND DIED FOR GOD/ AND THE RIGHT. THIS MEMORIAL IS SET HERE/ TO HIS GLORY AND THE ETERNAL HONOUR OF/THOSE WHOSE NAMES ARE INSCRIBED BELOW./ (NAMES)
