      November 1991

      Reason for move

St. James' Church became redundant and closed during the 1970's. The New Testament Baptist Church bought St. James', eventually proceeding to build a new Church close by, along with a new car park. At this time, the memorial was subsequently re-located nearer to St. James' Church.
