    Description
    Square foundation platform supporting a single-stepped square base surmounted by a square sectioned tapering pillar followed by a pyramid-headed square sectioned capstone. Each pillar face contains a curve-headed recessed area. 6 o'clock recess bears the inscription verses and other faces bear names. Pinned-lead lettering forms the text on all faces. The whole memorial is enclosed by a hedge to the rear and the road frontages, by metal railings and a gate, similar in design to those around the Parish Hall building opposite.
