    Description
    Window : Four-light, stained glass west window depicting Christian and maritime themes. Across the base of all four lights is a dedicatory inscription, mainly devoted to one officer but also mentions the other officers and men who perished on the stricken ship. Associated tablet : Portrait orientated nowy-headed tablet attached to a pedimented backboard. At the head of the tablet is an anchor and chain design carved in relief. Below, are inscriptions and names, the incised text of which, is infilled with black paint.

    Window : To the Glory of God and in memory of Lieut. Charles Cunningham Dumville Lees who went down with / HMS Verulam, 2nd.. Flotilla Atlantic Fleet, mined in the Gulf of Finland Sept 3rd.. 1919 aged 25, beloved son of / George John and Anne Dove Dumville Lees, also of the officers and men of the above Destroyer and of / the men of Okehampton who fell during the War. - And thus this young man died leaving his death for / an example of a noble courage, and a memorial of virtue, not only to the young men but unto all his nation. - / Erected by his mother, Major A.C.L. Dumville Lees K.S.L.I., & Frederick & Anne Dumville Richmond Brown. R. I. P. Tablet : TO THE GLORY OF GOD / THE WEST WINDOW IN THIS CHURCH / WAS ERECTED BY / ANNE DOVE DUMVILLE LEES. / A.C.L. DUMVILLE LEES. MAJOR. K.S.L.I. / SYDNEY DOVE DUMVILLE LUXMOORE. / A.D. AND F. RICHMOND BROWN. / A. DOLBEY WILLIAMS. / IN MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING / (16 NAMES) / WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN H.M.S.
