Description: Nowy headed tablet with a marble backboard, mounted directly above wood panelling. There is a wheel-cross in the centre which divides the four names lists, and there are two shield badges flanking the cross. The top centre is surmounted by the badge of the Devonshire Regiment. Names are inscribed with black lettering, and the dedication is along the base of the backboard in gold lettering.
Inscription: Tablet: TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES/ FOR THEIR GOD THEIR KING AND THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WARS OF 1914 - 1918/ (NAMES)/ LORD ALL PITYING JESU BLEST GRANT THEM THY ETERNAL REST Panel: DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY THANKS BE TO GOD WHO GIVETH US THE VICTORY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD/ RIP
