Description: Large, wall mounted, landscape orientated square-headed tablet within a partially decorative moulded stone frame. At the head is a raised laurel wreath enclosing raised gilt coloured letters "I H S" and a small integrated cross extending upwards from the letter "H". Flanking the wreath is banner scroll in relief displaying a short verse which appears to be finished in a gilt colour. Incised inscriptions and names, infilled with black paint occupy the central area of the tablet.
Inscription: + / IHS / FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH / TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF / THE MEN OF THIS VILLAGE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1919 / (18 NAMES) / "GOD PROVED THEM & FOUND THEM WORTHY FOR HIMSELF."
