Description: An elaborate, rectangular, carved oak frame with a stepped pediment and moulded top edge and lower concave shoulders. A rectangle at each corner of the frame has a carved raised panel, narrow wings terminate in a volute above the lower protruding corners. The wave-sided apron has carved scrolls below. Incised lettering is painted in gold roman caps, sans serif, and arabic numerals. A five pointed crown is carved in low relief at the centre of the pediment. The dedication is written in gold lettering.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN HONOURED MEMORY OF/ THE MEN OF THIS PARISH/ WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR, 1914-1919/ (Names)/ "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS/ THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS."
