    Two, wall mounted, purple-coloured nowy-headed brass plaques attached to, two nowy-headed granite backboards. Dove of peace with an olive branch in its beak on a green background at the top of each plaque. Raised inscriptions and names in a white colour.

    Plaque 1 : THOSE FROM THE PARISH OF WIGSTON MAGNA / WHO DIED IN THE FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WARS / 1914 - 18 / (125 NAMES) / 1939 - 45 / (47 NAMES) "FOR YOUR TOMORROW WE GAVE OUR TODAY" Plaque 2 : LET US ALSO REMEMBER THOSE FROM THE / PARISH OF WIGSTON MAGNA WHO DIED IN / THE FIRST AND SECOND WORLD WARS / 1914 -18 / (32 NAMES) / 1939 - 45 / (12 NAMES) / They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old : / Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. / At the going down of the sun and in the morning / We will remember them. / We will remember them. / PLAQUE PAID FOR BY DONATIONS AND THE ROTARY CLUB OF WIGSTON.
