    Description
    Rectangular white mottled marble tablet , the longer axis vertical , with the dedication incised and coloured black .The tablet is set within a frame , probably alabaster , with low relief carving of a foliate pattern in brown and black .At the top on the left the badge of the Scots Guards , on the right the badge of the Royal Fusiliers , both badges coloured gold and at centre the family escutcheon and motto in full colour.
