Description: CLOCK WITH DEDICATORY WHITE MARBLE TABLET WITH MOULDED CORNICE. A WHITE MARBLE CROSS IS PLACED ABOVE THE CORNICE AND THE INSCRIPTION IS IN BLACK LETTERING. WW2 NAMES PLACED ON THE BASE THAT THE TABLET RESTS ON: THEIR LETTERING IS ALSO IN BLACK AND THERE IS A SMALL LATIN CROSS.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN PIOUS MEMORY OF THOSE FROM/ THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR/ THEIR KING AND COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR, 1914-1919./ (NAMES)/ THE FOLLOWING ALSO SERVED IN THE NAVY/ (NAMES)/ IN THE ARMY/ (NAMES)/ THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED AND THE CLOCK PLACED IN/ THIS TOWER AS A THANKSOFFERING FOR THE SERVICES/ RENDERED BY THOSE NAMED ABOVE. ALSO FOR THE MANY/ MERCIES RECEIVED FROM ALMIGHTY GOD DURING THE/ WAR AND FOR THE BLESSING OF PEACE./ 1939 1945/ (NAMES)
