IN PARTICULAR OF/ HIS BELOVED FATHER JOSIAH MAYNE THE SON OF JAMES AND MARY MAYNE/ OF LOWER CALAMANSACK AFORESAID LATE OF GRADE WHO DIED IN LONDON/ 20TH DECEMBER 1913 IN THE 80TH YEAR OF HIS AGE. AND OF HIS COUSINS/ GEORGE CUTHBERT MAYNE LIEUT. CANTERBURY MTD RIFLES N.Z./ KILLED IN GALLIPOLI 1915. WILLIAM CONSTANTINE MAYNE/ SERGT. 3RD AUSTRALIAN MINING COMPANY KILLED IN FRANCE 1917./ WALTER ERNEST MAYNE PTE SOUTH AFRICAN INFANTRY KILLED/ IN FRANCE 1918 AND JOSEPH HENRY MAYNE MAJOR, MILITARY MAGISTRATE DIED IN GERMAN WEST AFRICA ON ACTIVE SERVICE 1918/ ERECTED BY WILLIAM BOXER MAYNE L.R.C.P.
