Description: Polished red granite Celtic cross with a tapered shaft resting on a trapezoidal plinth and rough-hewn square granite base. It stands on a paved platform reached by steps leading up from the pavement. Names and dedication are incised on face 1 of the plinth In front of the plinth at its base is a red granite panel incised with the WW2 dedication and names.
Inscription: Plinth face 1: To The Glory Of God/ AND IN MEMORY OF THE RINGSTEAD/ MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE/ GREAT WAR. 1914 – 1918./ (Names)/ "HE THAT LOSETH HIS LIFE FOR/ MY SAKE SHALL FIND IT."/ Face 1 tablet: On the base beneath it is a granite panel inscribed 1939–1945/ (Names)
