    Description
Stone cenotaph with slate names panels inset. The cenotaph is plain apart from a cross at the top of each of the short sides. Two longest sides each have three long panels of WW1 names at the top and two panels of WW2 names at the bottom. These are black with white inscriptions so are probably engraved in slate and painted. One of the short sides has a single long panel with WW1 names and a single panel with WW2 names below. The other short side has the dedication. On a four-stepped base with a metal fence around the memorial with locked gate. The dedication is Bonhill Parish but it is also referred to as the Vale of Leven War Memorial and now tends to just be called Alexandria War Memorial
