Type of Memorial: Stone of remembrance
WMR Reference Number: 54308
Description: Stone of Remembrance with cross carved in relief and the names also in relief, apart from an additional WW 2 name which has been incised. The cross is centred on the front of the stone and the names are listed either side of the vertical shaft of the cross.
Inscription: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE/ OF/ 1914 1918/ (Names)/ 1939 1945/ (Names)/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ IN THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM/ THEY SHALL GROW/ NOT OLD.
