    Carved wooden boards mounted onto a large panel. Names in gilt. College Arms is in the centre of the board. This is flanked by the Latin inscription. This in turn is flanked by the wooden boards. At each end are two silver torches (shaped electric lamps)

    Sponsored by parents, old boys, staff and pupils as well as other members of the public. In February 1924 collections started to raise money for the construction of the War Memorial. Collectors were appointed for each of the town's wards and each contributor had his or her name registered in a record book.
    Maintenance History
    October 2005: Moved from the library to a more accessible place near the Chapel. Name of Leo Craven was added after the others at an unknown date.
