Description: Tiered stone of remembrance set into a low wall of the same material. In the centre of the stone is a plaque bearing the dedication. Life size sculpture of a RNAS airman standing on circular plinth.
Inscription: HMS Ringtail badge In commemoration of/ the Royal Naval Personnel/ who served at H.M.S. Ringtail/ Royal Naval Airstation Burscough,/ which was operational on this site/ between 1st of September 1943/ and 15th June 1946/ for radar training and as a base/ for squadrons disembarked/ or working for shipboard/ operations during World War II./ Supported and funded by/ Burscough Parish Council
