Description: Wall mounted, landscape oriented backboard supporting a nowy-headed white marble tablet. At top centre of the tablet is a raised white shield on which are raised heraldic charges in gold. (This is a representation of the Walne Coat of Arms but the charges should be black). Inscriptions and name incised and infilled with black paint.
Inscription: IN LOVING MEMORY / OF / HORACE GEORGE WALNE / 2ND. LIEUT. 2ND. SUFFOLK REGT. / WHO FELL AT WANCOURT NEAR ARRAS / ON THE 11TH. OF APRIL 1917 / AGED 27 YEARS. / FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH / INTERRED IN TILLOY BRITISH CEMETERY NEAR ARRAS.
