Description: Village store with wooden board set within a stone and wood frame on external wall facing the High Street. Dedicatory inscription painted at the top of the stone frame and names carved onto the wooden board. Around the dedicatory inscription is a painted border. NB It is not clear whether the store was set up as a memorial to those lost in WW1, or whether the shop became known as the Memorial Stores because of the memorial wooden board on its external wall.

Sponsored By: Memorial Stores is stated to be a general store which replaced a memorial barn dedicated to the people of Limpsfield who fell in the First World War.
