    Description
    Four-light stained glass window with figures in each light. Dedicatory tablet placed below with names in four columns. Minor lights of the window showing the Arms of ten Allied Countries. Left major light depicts St George and an action at Zeebrugge on St Georges Day when Leading Seaman Evans of Swaffham blew up a block ship. Next major light shows Joshua, Conquerer of the Holy Land, and General Allenby's entry into Jerusalem. Third light shows St Michael, and Gunner Betts of Royal Horse Artillery being assisted by Gunner Hudson of Swaffham at Battle of Mons. Extreme right major light depicts Virgin Mary and the Ministry of Women in a Red Cross Hospital. NOTE: Dedicatory wording refers to 90 men, there are however 91 names listed on the memorial.
