    Description
    Book of Remembrance, with a blue and red leather cover that bears the gold-embossed crest of the Corps of Military Police (GvR). The Book, which is displayed in a glazed wooden case, has no frontispiece. The 375 names within are grouped by the geographical area/Theatre of Combat in which they died, and comprise members of the Military Mounted and Military Foot Police who died from 1914 to 1919. Above the case in which the Book is displayed is the associated brass plaque in engraved black lettering (on a wooden backboard), and also a large framed white cross.
