    Description
    Red sandstone archway with wooden gate. Two windows placed on each side of the gate, below which are two arched doors. A coloured coat of arms is placed at the top in the center, were there is a step pediment. Names and dedicatory inscription are placed on the walls inside the archway. A turret staircase leads up to the roof and flagstaff.

Inside Arch Centre right: To the memory of/ The 853 Cliftonians/ who fell in the wars/ 1914 - 1919 1939 - 1946/ From the great Marshall to the last recruit/ These Clifton were thyself they spirit it in deed/ Thy flower of Chivalry thy fallen fruit/ And Thine Immortal seed./ (Names).
