    Description
The original memorial is a stylised cross, symbolising suffering and reconciliation, with a sword and wreath carved in relief at the centre of the shaft. At the top of the cross are two doves are taking flight. The dedicatory inscription is on a plaque lower down the shaft of the cross. in 2016 eight name slabs (six for WW1 and two for WW2 and Korea) and one commemoration slab were added at the base of the cross: their lettering is engraved. There is also an adjacent wooden bench with a small, engraved plaque.
