    Description
    Rectangular stone pedestal surmounted by a statue of a highland soldier with fixed bayonet. Pedestal has a tablet on two sides bearing the names and dedicatory inscription. On the base of the front of the pedestal is a crossed rifle and sword carved in relief.

    6 o'clock face: "LEAN GU DLUTH RI/ CLIU DO SHINNSIR"/ TO THE/ GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY OF/ THE MEN OF/ KINCARDINE WHO FELL/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ (Names)/ 1914 - 1919 12 o'clock face: (Names)/ IN MEMORY OF THOSE/ FROM KINCARDINE PARISH/ WHO GAVE THIER LIVES/ IN THE WAR 1939 - 1945/ (Names)/ "LEAN AU DLUTH RI CLIU DO SHINNSIR" (Translation of the Gaelic: Follow closely the fame of your forefathers)
