    THE REREDOS IS DEDICATED/TO THE GLORY OF GOD/AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/KENNETH REID GILROY LIEUT./THE BLACK WATCH WHO DIED/12 MARCH 1915 OF WOUNDS/RECEIVED IN ACTION AT/NEUVE CHAPELLE AGED 23./I HAVE FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT/I HAVE FINISHED THE COURSE/I HAVE KEPT FAITH. THE REREDOS IS DEDICATED/TO THE GLORY OF GOD/AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/ GEORGE BRUCE GILROY MC/CAPT. 8th BATTN. THE BLACK/WATCH WHO DIED 15 JULY/1916 OF WOUNDS RECEIVED/IN ACTION AT LONGUEVAL/AGED 27./ GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN IN (sic)/THIS THAT A MAN LAY DOWN HIS LIFE/FOR HIS FRIENDS.
