    Description
    A Corinthian colonnade quadrant corner with six columns with a sculpture of the British Lion at the front. On each side of the wall there is a former County Council coats of arms and at the centre is a wreath.

    • Private Eye No.1373 (22 Aug.-4 Sep. 2014) p.17 Criticism by 'Piloti', architectural correspondent, of proposed alterations to Memorial Hall. Another architect member of the Mackenzie family, designers of the hall, was killed in WW1.
