    Description
    Landscape orientated ornate tablet attached to a dark grey streaked nowy-headed marble backboard. Tablet inscription panel is enclosed by decorative pilasters with design in relief at each side, moulded stone shelf at top and curved-edged moulded protrusion at bottom. Above shelf is the RAF emblem consisting of eagle wings, crown, motto and insignia all in relief. Below the base are two corbels, decorated in relief. Spanning between the corbels is a drop-curved panel with an incised cross at centre.
