Description: Brick base surmounted by an obelisk set on a stone plinth with a brick base. Whole stands on a horsham stone surround. There is a wreath set on one face of the obelisk with a bronze plaque set below. On one face of the plinth a dedication is incised.
Inscription: WORLD WAR I/ (Names)/ WORLD WAR II/ (Names) On plinth: IN MEMORY OF ALL THOSE PEOPLE/ OF SOUTHWATER WHO GAVE THEIR/ LIVES IN TIMES OF CONFLICT FOR/ THE DEFENCE OF OUR FREEDOM
