    Maintenance History
Post 1960's - 2007: Following the closure of the old fire station the plaque lay in storage for a number of years. It was rediscovered by a member of the Worthing branch of the Royal Artillery Association following a brief article about it in the Worthing Sentinel. He contacted the fire brigade in its current headquarters and they found it in a cupboard. The memorial was polished before being hung on a wall at the station.
