- A rough-hewn white marble headstone on a family grave with representation of a scroll on the face, clasped hands at the head and inscription inlaid in upright capital block lettering.

- IN/ LOVING/ AND/ AFFECTIONATE/ REMEMBRANCE/ OF/ ELIZABETH,/ BELOVED WIFE OF/ HENRY WHITWORTH,/ WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE JUNE 1ST. 1915/ AGED 48 YEARS./ HE GIVETH HIS BELOVED SLEEP./ ALSO ARTHUR WHITWORTH/ OF THE R.N.V.R. 1915. SON OF THE ABOVE WHO DIED FROM ILLNESS CONTRACTED IN/ SERVICE APRIL 2ND. 1919, AGED 23 YEARS/ REST CALMLY REST FOR THOU THY PART HAS PLAYED/ ON THIS WORLDS STAGE & DEATH THY HAND HAS STAYED/ THY WORK IS DONE THOUST LAID THY ARMOUR DOWN/ FOUGHT THE GOOD FIGHT & GAIND THE ETERNAL CROWN/ ALSO OF HENRY WHITWORTH/ DIED NOV. 10TH. 1941/ AGED 72 YEARS
