Description: The north transept, converted to a First World War Memorial Chapel in 1920, with a dedicatory portrait orientated brass plaque set on the north wall, to the east of the stained glass window. (Unusually, the north transept is twice the length of the south. It has a very early English wall arcade, with detached shafts). Memorials and other articles were later added to the Chapel relating to the Second World War, including both casualties from the Parish itself and from the USAAF Airbase at Polebrook Airfield (see separate IWM entries for those 2nd World War memorial plaques and Rolls of Honour).
