    Bronze WW1 soldier with bowed head and rifle reversed on a plinth with stepped base. Crossed rifles and Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Badge on base of the plinth; an additional plinth has been added with eleven doves to commemorate the victims of the 1987 bombing

    Maintenance History
    c1990/1991: Refurbished and redesigned as a result of damage sustained in the 1987 bombing. Names recut; new plinth added with doves of peace; traffic surround widened and rebuilt in stone; names of those killed in bombing inscribed on surround. The memorial was heighted by 1000mm.
