    Description
Large bronze memorial plaques which replaced the original memorial previously located in Throgmorton Street. The original memorial had a central bay with general dedication and bronze elements, including two sculptures. To either side were four marble panels listing the names of the fallen. There was also a painted dedication following the profile of the roof. The memorial was later altered and re-sited with only the name panels and bronze wreath being maintained. The two statues still exist and are currently on loan for display.

    Maintenance History
The Stock Exchange building of 1801 was replaced by a new one on the same site in 1972.; At the 2004 move it was determined that the original tablets were in a poor condition, and would be very hard to move due to their size and method of construction, so new bronze plaques were made (incorporating the Boer War), incorporating the bronze wreath from the original memorial
