Description: Bench with dedicatory plaque at centre of backrest, placed on a stone base. To the right on the base is a stone tablet with the Royal Arthur emblem engraved thereon.
Inscription: "THE EMPTY CHAIR"/ IN MEMORY OF ALL SHIPMATES/ OF THE H.M.S. ROYAL ARTHUR ASSOCIATION WHO HAVE/ CROSSED-THE-BAR AND FOUND A SAFE HAVEN/ MAY 2001/ THIS SEAT IS DEDICATED TO OUR PAST CHAIRMEN/ S/M BEN HARRIS & S/M HAYDN TAYLOR
