Description: A memorial park consists of obelisk and two Portland stone walls with black granite name tablets placed at an angle. One wall has the names for WW1 and the other for WW2 and later conflicts.

2003: THE SWIMMING POOL AT THE MEMORIAL PARK IS AT RISK AND THERE IS MUCH DISCUSSION AS TO ITS FUTURE. 2002 Aug. : opposition to proposal to sell part of the park for retail development.
