    Description
    A white granite potent cross on a dressed three-stepped base. Face 1 of the cross has a roundel at the centre containing an angel holding a broadsword. The upper limb has a roundel containing a cross and the two arms have roundels containing rosettes. The tapered shaft has a series of linked roundels formed from interlaced strapwork and widens out to form a square foot bearing an inscription. Face 3 has a roundel at the centre containing a pelican in her piety, at the top is a roundel containing a cross, on each arm is a roundel with a rosette and below the centre is a roundel containing interlaced strapwork. Both of these faces have a narrow moulded border. Faces 2 and 4 have linked roundels formed from interlaced strapwork. All of the ornamentation is in relief. The three-stepped base has vertical sides with bevelled tops and contains the WW1 inscription and names on Face 1, andon fces 2 and 4 the WW2 names. All of the inscriptions and names are inlaid in upright capital block leaded lettering. The whole is surrounded by gritstone walls surmounted by iron railings, the interior of which has a gravel surface and contains several stone flower holders. A flagpole is located adjacent to the plot.
