Description: Metal flag-pole with a rough-hewn granite block at its foot commemorating WW1 & WW2 soldiers. In 2008, it had two brass plaques set into the sloped face, one for WW1 and the other for WW2, and each of them was framed with a transparent cover. However, by 2015, the two plaques had been replaced by a single tablet.
Inscription: Old plaque 1, left: IN REMEMBRANCE/ 1914-1918./ (Names) Old plaque 2, right: IN REMEMBRANCE/ 1939-1945/ (Names) Both were replaced in 2014 or 2015 by a single tablet which includes the following: IN REMEMBRANCE/ (left-hand side column): 1914-1918/ (NAMES)/ (right-hand side column): 1939-1945/ (NAMES)

Maintenance History: 2009: The brass plaques are discoloured and have patches of corrosion, probably caused by the ingress of water. There is no visible means of hoisting a flag on flagpole. The separate WW1 and WW2 brass plaques were replaced by a single tablet in 2014 or 2015.
