Description: Rectangular, vertically orientated, glazed Roll of Honour in a wooden frame, containing names in two columns in black and red lettering with a decorative border around it and a Latin Cross at the top centre . It commemorates fallen First World War soldiers from this Parish.
Inscription: AS GOLD/ IN THE FURNACE/ HATH HE TRIED THEM AND/ RECEIVED THEM AS A BURNT-OFFERING/ NAMES OF MEN FROM BRAUGHING PARISH/ WHO DIED FOR THEIR KING AND COUNTRY/ 1914-1919/ (Names)/ JESU MERCY. - - Round edge of parchment: THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH/ WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT/ THEY SHALL BE MINE IN THAT DAY WHEN I MAKE UP MY JEWELS/ THE CARE OF THEM IS WITH THE MOST HIGH
