    Marble Tablet with incised inscription set into exterior wall of building. The nurses killed were from Cheadle, Corofin, Bury, Ennis, Athlone, St Helen's, Strabane, St Asaph, Stacksteads, Buckley, Middleton and Ulverston.

    THIS PANEL RECORDS/ THE NAMES OF FOURTEEN/ NURSES WHO LOST THEIR/ LIVES AT THE HOSPITAL/ DURING AN AIR RAID/ JUNE 2ND 1941/ FOURTEEN BEDS HAVE BEEN/ ENDOWED IN PERPETUITY/ TO COMMEMORATE THEIR/ DEVOTION TO DUTY./ (Names)/ THIS PANEL WAS UNVEILED BY/ H.R.H.
