Description: A piece of headland with an associated stone of remembrance. The stone is made of rough hewn black granite with an inscription inlaid in white capital lettering. To the left of the inscription is the crest of the States of Jersey. Nearby, there is a further memorial (our reference WMR 64105) on the headland which commemorates US Navy boat crew and an information plaque about the Naval Battle off Noirmont Point.
Inscription: THIS HEADLAND WAS ACQUIRED BY THE/ STATES OF JERSEY ON BEHALF OF THE/ PUBLIC IN COMMEMORATION OF THOSE/ MEN AND WOMEN OF JERSEY WHO/ PERISHED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR/ 1939 - 1945
