Description: Marble or alabaster tablet with nowy headed pediment and a reversed version for the sill and bracket. Inlayed gold and green border with black painted inscription. There is a small square cross above the inscription and a larger one top centre of the pediment.
Inscription: TO THE GLORIOUS MEMORY OF/ THE SONS OF SAXTON & TOWTON/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR/ COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-19/ (Names)/ THIS TABLET IS ERECTED BY COL GASCOIGNE DSO/ LEST WE FORGET
