    Description
    A wall mounted marble tablet in a compound frame. The plain oblong white marble tablet bears the incised inscription in upright, mainly sentence case, roman lettering infilled in black. The outer elements of the frame are of moulded pale green stone and the inner element is made up as a mosaic from glass and ceramic tesserae.

    To the Glory of God/ and in loving memory of/ SERGEANT HARRY NEILL 12th Batt: Y.&L,Reg:/ For 8 years Lay Reader in this Parish/ and who gave his life for his Country/ at the Battle of the Somme, July 1st./ 1916.
