    Rectangular brass plaque with a matching circular extension in the middle of the upper and lower side forming a circle. The incised lettering has a black infilling. There is a double line as a border around the edge. Buff's badge engraved at the bottom centre of plaque.

    TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN/ SACRED REMEMBRANCE OF OUR BROTHER/ ARTHUR F. WICKENS (SERG.T MAJOR 1/5 BUFFS)/ WHO FELL IN ACTION IN MESOPOTAMIA FEB. 24 1917 AGED 27 YEARS./ 14 YEARS MEMBER OF THIS CHURCH AND CHOIR./ "Thou gavest him long life even for ever and ever."/ VETERI FRONDESCIT HONORE.
