WMR Reference Number: 6726
Description: A double vehicle gate with adjacent single pedestrian gate. Two large oval plaques on the vehicle gates carry the main dedicatory inscription. A bronze plaque to the "THE MAN WHO NEVER WAS" was added to the pedestrian gate in November 1997. The names of the fallen appear on metal plaques affixed to the three stone gateposts. Each gatepost has a carved wreath at the top and supports a spherical light. The gates lead to a memorial garden.
