Inscription: 12 o'clock face - pillar: BETTER DEATH THAN DISHONOUR/ To the Immortal Memory/ of the 110 Gallant Men of/ LLANBRADACH/ WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES/ FOR THE EMPIRE/ IN THE GREAT WAR/ 1914 - 1918./ GWELL ANGAU NA/ CHYWILYDD./ 12 o'clock face - plinth: TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND THE IMMORTAL MEMORY OF THE MEN OF/ LLANBRADACH/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WORLD WAR 2ND/ A.D. 1939 - 1945./ THEY GAVE THAT WE MAY LIVE FREE MEN./ (WW1 names - 3, 6 and 9 o'clock faces of the pillar; WW2 names - 3 and 9 o'clock faces of the plinth)
