Description: Two identical rolls of honour, with the fallen listed by surname A-L and M-W. Each has the same inscription and decoration. At the top is the coat of arms of the City of Nottingham on the left, that of Sir Thomas White on the right: in between is the school motto above the coats of arms of Henry VIII and George V which are either side of the School Crest. The top banner also includes representations of the medals won by those commemorated, including the VC. Below are the names and their details, written on three separate sheets interspersed with badges and insignia of the regiments in which they served.
Inscription: ROLL OF HONOUR/ 1914 - 1919/ (Names)/ NOTTINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL/ (Names)/ VIRTUTE FUNCTOS, MORE PARTUM, DUCES.* * Translation: We worship not only the gods but also the leaders
